INFO: VS MANGA,

Compared to the manga, the anime is pretty much nothing. It's still good but lacks all the great action that the manga will always hold. Since the anime is thrown into the morning line-up(usually watched by kids in Japan), it pretty much has a few minor and major edits here and there.

* Due to the amount of episodes, I will not be going over all of them.

× Episode 1:
- Some random goon trying to assasinate Reborn in Italy.
- Reborn delivering the mail and Yamamoto's morning run.
- Nana and Tsuna talking over the test and tutor in the morning.
- Tsuna meeting Reborn much earlier in the anime rather than the manga.
- Tsuna getting scared over a little dog.
- Adding Haru in the scene where Kyoko first meets Reborn.
- Tsuna goes into dying will mode in the same day rather than the next.
- Ryohei witnessing Tsuna getting hit by a passing truck.
- Hibari appearing before Tsuna and Reborn in the morning.
- Yamamoto, Ryohei, and Hibari attending the fight between Mochida and Tsuna.
- Yamamoto helping out Tsuna during his fight with Mochida.
- Gokudera appearing outside of the gym which is suppose to be during the volleyball tournament.
- Reborn's talk of Tsuna being the 10th, the pictures of the other candidates were not shown.
- Nana tucking in Reborn at night.

× Episode 2:
- Reborn's mention of the volleyball tournament and new student
- Kyoko telling Tsuna about the foreign exhange student.
- Yamamoto and his friends, Kyoko, and Hana talking to Tsuna asking to join the volleyball tournament.
- Reborn trying to boost Tsuna's confidence before the game.
- Yamamoto and Gokudera joining in on the game.
- Hibari and Ryohei attending the game.
- Tsuna using his "privates" to knock the ball back to the other team.
- Haru looking for Reborn at Tsuna's school.
- Yamamoto interrupting Gokudera's fight with Tsuna.
- Nana looking for sales due to the bomb explosions.

× Other edits:
- Reborn's gun is absent but replaced with Leon transforming into one.
- No blood is shown when the bullets hit Tsuna.
- Gokudera Hayato's nickname "Smokin' Bomb" is changed to "Hurricane Bomb" in the anime. Most likely due to the fact that they don't want to encourage kids smoking in a middle school. Also explains why his dynamite magically light up.
- Instead of Lambo shooting himself with the 10 Year Bazooka, he hops inside.
- School uniforms colors are slightly altered.
- I-Pin speaks Japanese and Chinese in the anime. In the manga, she speaks Chinese and Reborn translates her conversations.
- Chapters 2 and 3 are combined but heavily edited.
- Chapter 4, where Tsuna and Gokudera are almost kicked out of school is never shown.
- Chapter 5, where Yamamoto Takeshi first befriends Tsuna is never shown. One reason could be because of Yamamoto's suicide attempt.
- Chapter 6, where the Dying Will bullet is used on Kyoko is never shown.
- Chapter 7, 9, and 10 are combined but heavily edited.
- Chapters 8 and 13 are never shown.
- Chapters 11 and 12 are combined but shown in opposite order.
- Chapter 16, which features Hibari Kyoya is shown first even though Dr.Shamal and Ryohei haven't had their own introductions yet.
- Chapters 23 and 24 are combined but edited.
- Chapters 27 and 28 are combined but edited.
- Chapters 56 and 59 are combined but edited.
- Episode 5 is famous among fans for it's deformity. It has been re-drawn in the DVD version.
- Little blood have been shown in the Kokuyo, Varia, and Future arc.
- The Tomaso family have not been introduced; therefore, the parts of the story were they were introduced in the manga have been changed in the anime.
- Lal Mirch's scar was changed to a tattoo design.
- The arcs are re-arranged differently, such as Daily Life arc continuing after majors arcs.
- Shoichi Irie was introduced just episodes before the Millefiore arc started. His father is also absent from the episode.
