INFO: TRIVIA,

These are meanings on names and observations seen in the manga. Some of these observations(i.e: comparing characters to celebrities) are just MY assumptions! Don't copy and paste them and put them on your site please.

× Bianchi:
- Her name is derived from the word 'blanc' which is French for 'white'.
- In Italy, there's a bicycle company called Bianchi(which named after the manufactor, Edoardo Bianchi). When she first appears in the manga, she's riding a bicycle.
- In Italy, Bianchi is also a car company.
- She has a tattoo of a scorpion on her left shoulder. In Italy, there's a car company called Abarth and their emblem is a scorpion.
- She is also seen wearing a few shirts with Abarth's name on it.
- On chapter 10's title page, Bianchi's tattoo is seen on her left hand rather than her shoulder.
- In the VIZ version, Abarth, which repeatedly appears on Bianchi's shirts has been edited.

× Dino:
- An Italian name with the meaning, 'little sword'. Also derived from the Greek name, Deino meaning 'fearfully great' or 'terrible'.
- Dino is also an Italian sports car produced by the Ferrari company. Thus, the name 'Ferrari Dino'. The name is also honored by manufactor's son, Alfredino Dino Ferrari.
- The Ferrari manufactor's name is Enzo Anselmo Ferrari. In the manga, Dino has a pet turtle named 'Enzio'. (Considering there's already another side character named Enzo.)
- The Ferrari's prancing horse emblem is called Cavallino Rampante. Dino's nickname happens to be 'Prancing Horse'.
- Dino has a tattoo of a horse(same style as the emblem) on his left arm.
- The tattoo under the horse says, 'BARACCA'. Francesco Baracca, an Italian fighter ace pilot, had painted a black horse on his fuselage, which Enzo Ferrari decided to use for his car's emblem.
- In the VIZ version, Dino's family name has been changed to "Chiavarone".

× Haru:
- Haru's last name is Miura. It's a city in Japan but in Italy, it's one of Ferruccio's sport car models, Lamborghini Miura.
- Lamborghini Miura is named after the famous bull race in Spain featuring the strongest fighting bulls, the Miura.
- Though her name is written in katakana, the kanji for Spring is 'Haru'.
- In various chapters, you'll see her wearing the shirt with the words printed "SPRING" on the front.
- The person(Robinson Crusoe) Haru mentions in chapter 30, is a real person based on the novel with the same name.

× Hayato:
- Hayato's dynamite say 'dunamis' on it which is actually Greek meaning, 'dynamite' or 'dynamic'.
- On chapter 13's title cover, Hayato has a similar tattoo to Dino.

- In chapter 61, Hayato wears a shirt that says, "Feel Good Inc." which could be a reference to the British band, Gorillaz.

- Her name is derived from MahJong, a popular tiles-based game in China and Japan. Her name is based on the Pinzu tiles.

× Kyoya:
- His last name, Hibari, translates into 'skylark' which is a bird.
- His name could of been derived from the Buick Skylark, which was produced by GM, an American car company.

- On chapter 62's cover page, a bird design is shown inside his uniform.
- Fans have dubbed Hibari the number 18. One being 'hi'and eight being 'ba'.
- Hibari's gang can most likely be described as Yanki Furyo or Banchou from the uniforms they wear to their hair styles(pompadours).

× Lambo:
- Lambo's name is derived from Lamborghini which is a Italian sports car company whose founder is Ferruccio Lamborghini.
- Three of Lamborghini's best models are Miura, Countach, and Diablo.
- In the manga, Lambo is dressed up as a cow. Because Ferruccio loved bulls and was a Taurus, the 'Raging Bull' became the emblem for the company.
- In his older form, depending on where his face is facing, he will always have one eye closed. (Most of the time, it's his right eye.)
- On the corner of his eye(s), he has what looks like either the sharp note or pound symbol.
- Lambo's true eye color is green. In some colored pictures you'll either see him with green, blue, or red colored eyes, along with the same color of bandages on his horns.
- One of his skills is called Electric Shock Horns. The furigana on the side of the name says, 'Elettrico Cornuta' which means 'Electric Horns' in Italian.
- Lambo is holder of the Thunder ring which is pretty ironic as his skill consist of electricity.
- Lambo's name is sometimes mistaken for Rambo. Sylvester Stallone played a character named Rambo in the movie series, Rambo. Lambo looks a little like a scrawny version of him. Notice the droopy eyes, too?^^;
- In the VIZ version, one of adult Lambo's moves has been changed to "Electrico Cornada". His family name is also sometimes spelled out as "Bovina".

- Reborn is called Arcobaleno. It means 'rainbow' in Italian. Also arco means 'arch' and baleno means 'lightning' so it'd be translated as Arc of Lightning.
- Reborn says the word Ciaossu. Ciao means 'hello(and good-bye)' in Italian. Adding the ssu is a sort of Japanese slang.
- In some colored pictures, Reborn's hat with either have a red/black color scheme or orange/black scheme.
- Reborn's name is mostly derived from when Tsuna gets hit with the Dying Will Bullet. Tsuna always says, "REBORN!" after being hit.

× Takeshi:
- Fans have dubbed Yamamoto the number 80. Eight being 'ya' and ten being 'ma'.
- On chapter 90's title cover, Takeshi has a badge that says, "Rock the House" which could be a reference to the British band, Gorillaz.

× Tomaso Family:
- De Tomaso is an Italian car company founded by an Argentinian named Alejandro De Tomaso. It's emblem is a iron tool used to brand horses and the colors are of the Argentinean flag.
- Its models are Guara, Vallelunga, Mangusta, Deauville, Longchamp, Pantera, and Daihatsu(collab with Japanese company).
- Naito has the name 'De Tomaso' tattooed on his chest.
- The families names are all derived from the De Tomaso models: Longchamp, Mangusta, Pantera, and Lunga(Vallelunga).
- In Italian, the name Vallelunga means 'long valley', Pantera means 'panther', and Mangusta means 'mongoose'.
- Naito is most likely based off of British rock singer from the Sex Pistols, Sid Vicious. From the hair down to the tight black pants and belted shoes! Here's a comparison picture.
- Naito is usually wearing something that says, "Never Mind". The Sex Pistols have an album called "Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols". On a couple of Sid Vicious shirts I've seen, the words embedded are usually just "Nevermind".
- In the VIZ version, Pantera's name is Pantilla and Mangusta's name is Mungster. Also, in the chapter that refers to Lunga and the Fuji flower, he has been mistaken for a girl.

- His nickname, Tsuna can also be translated as 'tuna'. His bedroom door has a tunafish with his name on it.
- The word tsu is how to pronounce 'two' in Japanese and na is for 'seven'. In the manga, he's seen wearing a few clothing with the number 27 on it.
- He's also wears a few clothing with 'Hawaii' on the front.
- In chapter 7, Tsuna is wearing a shirt that says, "Seal Kay Independent" on the front. This is actually a real name brand clothing company in Italy called "Seal Kay". The design prints are also similar to Dino's clothing.
- On Tsuna's family bloodline, he's related to Ieyasu, Iemitsu, and Ietsuna. Tokugawa Dynasty's 5th shogun, Tokugawa Tsunayoshi, also had relatives with the same names.
- Tokugawa's father is named Iemitsu. This also happens to be the name of Tsuna's father.
- Tsuna's birthday, October 14th is the day that the 15th and last Shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate resigns in Japan in the year 1867.
- Tokugawa Tsunayoshi is known as the "Dog Shogun" because he likes them, opposite of Tsuna who is often getting attacked by them.
- Tsuna receives the X-gloves. The X symbol on the glove is most likely the Roman Numeral for 10 and Tsuna is Vongola's 10th boss.
- Tsuna's Dying Will Flame is red/orange though in the game, Jump Superstars it's a blue flame(chapter 14 cover). The only other character with a blue flame is Basil, who was introduced in chapter 82.
- In chapter 44, when Tsuna looks for his name on the class list, his full name is shown(in kanji). In another panel, it shows his nickname instead.

× Kokuyo Gang:
- The kanji for Ken's name also means 'dog', which of course, best describes his wild personality.
- Right before Mukuro dies, he says, 'Arrivederci'. It's more of a formal way of saying, good-bye(or see you later) in Italian.
- The word Mukuro mentions, 'Omerta' is a vow of silence made upon the mafia. For example, if a mafia member were to murder someone, no one will even remember or see this event. The police can't be involved in the situation as well. If you break this oath, it will lead to your death.
- Mukuro's name means (dead)'body/corpse' which is relevant since he shots himself and comes back to life.
- Mukuro's last name most likely refers to his six different skills.
- Mukuro's shirt design in the Kokuyo arc is similar to the mist ring design.
- Chrome Dokuro is an anagram/pseudonym of Mukuro Rokudo. kuroomu(mukuro), dokuro(rokudo).
- Chrome's real name, Nagi means 'calm'. Her last name means 'skull'.

× Millefiore Family:
- Like the other mafia families, Millefiore's name is based around flowers.
- Byakuran's name means 'white orchid' which corresponds to his family's name.
- Many anemone flowers are sent to Shoichi. The anemone has many meanings which include 'anitcipation' and 'forsaken'.
- Glo Xinia is named after the flower Gloxinia(Sinningia species). His name is not to be confused with the other flower, Zinna. In flower language, his name means 'Love at first sight'.
- 73 is mentioned a lot. This most likely refers to the 343 original boxes since 73 equals 343.
- The Black Spell member's name, Spana is written in katakana as 'supana' which translates to Spanner(the kanji form meaning 'sour flower'). His lolipops are also the shape of spanner wrenches.

× Varia Unit:
- The character introduced in chapter 82 is named Superbia Squalo. Superbia meaning 'pride' in Latin and Squalo meaning 'shark' in Italian.
- Mammon's skill: Mucus Photography can also be translated as Spirit/Sense Photography. 'Nen' gives off the same meaning of either mucus or spirit.
- The characters are heavily based on the 'Seven Deadly Sins'.
- Mammon is named after the demon, Mammon who has a relation to the sin, Greed/Avarice.
- Mammon's pet called Fantasma means 'ghost/phantom' in Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese.
- Fantasma's true form is shown as Ouroboros. (A serpent swallowing its own tail which forms a circle.)

- Belphegor is named after the demon, Belphegor who has a relation to the sin, Sloth.
- The 'X' in XANXUS's are actually suppose to be based on the Roman numeral for ten. If you look closely and remove both X's and add the letter T at the end, it'll be Tsuna backwards.

× Family names:
- Several of Tsuna's mafia family members call Nana 'Maman' which means mother in French. Iemitsu is called 'Papan'.
- Tsuna's mafia family name, Vongola(Vongole being singular) means 'clams' in Italian.
- The family that Lambo is apart of, the Bovino, is derived from the name Bove meaning 'cow' or someone resembling one. Bivino is a female cow coming from the roots of the Latin and Greek language.
- Dino's mafia family name, Cavallone means 'big horse' in Italian.
- Byakuran's mafia family name, Millefiori/fiore means '1,000 flowers' in Italian. His main family name is Gesso which means 'chalk' in Italian(which is usually white). He is responsible for the White Spell unit.

- Oregano's partner, Turmeric, is a type of ginger spice. Commonly used in curry powders.
- Reborn has been seen drinking 'Hisahi', which is most likely a reference to Asahi beer. Romario has been seen drinking 'Fire' which is also a reference to Japan's coffee drink, Kirin 'Fire'.
- In episode 89, the bottle of water near Chrome says 'Artland' which is the studio the anime is being produced at.

× Changes/Edits:
Because of the time limit an author has to release each chapter, there's usually modifications in the released version. Here are a few I found. - Chapter 19: Haru's expression is changed; Boat is broken up differently(here).
