× Profile:
A manga-ka and Aichi prefecture graduate of Shounen Manga House(Boys comics) with her most known works being Petit Petit Rabbit and Home Tutor Hitman Reborn!.

She debuted in 1998 but didn't become widely known as she is now. Her first stories were both being serialized in Young Magazine and Bessatsu Young Magazine(Kodansha). In 2002, she decided to take a new direction to carry on one of her newer works in the newcomer mangaka recruiting plan, "Unique Manga Award" of Weekly Shounen Jump(Shueisha). In "Akamaru SPRING 2003", her most devoted work, Tapir Heart HAWK!!, announced a publication. And Home Tutor Hitman Reborn!'s first appearance(pilot) was in issue no.51 of Weekly Shounen Jump 2003 with a 49-page chapter. However, it differs from the first chapter that was published in issue no.26 of WSJ 2004.

As of now, greatest manga project, in my opinion, is Home Tutor Hitman Reborn! which is still being published in Weekly Shounen Jump as of 2004. It also celebrated it's 2nd anniversary in chapter 99 of issue no.27 of 2006, it's 3rd in chapter 150 of issue no.30 of 2007, and most recently, it's 4th in chapter 199 of issue no.31 of 2008!

In 2007, she collaborated with writer Koyasu Hideki and they have released two novels pertaining to past and side stories of several characters already mentioned in the manga(as well as new ones). In 2008, chapters of the novels have been serialized in the monthly shounen magazine, JUMP SQ. The first chapter to the next (3rd) novel was released on May 2nd.
